The Responso was a steam trawler built by Cook, Welton & Gemmell Ltd of Beverley in 1912 and registered in Grimsby GY666.
The Loss
On the 31st December 1915 HMT Responso stranded on The Rive, (The Riv) a reef of the north coast of Sanday, Orkney and became a total wreck.
