DANISH SHIP SUNK:
Crew Saw British War Vessel Sent Down.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION WAR SPECIAL.) Copenhagen. Tuesday (received to-day) report from Esbjerg states that the Danish gunboat Absalon has just arrived there with the crew of the Danish schooner Jason, of Svendborg, which has been torpedoed. lt appears that the commander of the Absalon received a wireless call at eleven o'clock last night from the lightship stating that Jason had been set on fire by a German auxiliary cruiser. The Absalon left immediately and brought six Danish seamen from the Jason to Esbjerg.
(EXCHANGE TELEGRAPH COMPANY SPECIAL TELEGRAM.) Copenhagen. Thursday. despatch from Esbjerg states that the crew of the Danish schooner Jason who were landed there, report that they saw German cruiser sink a British warship in the North Sea. The cruiser afterwards sighted the Jason, look the crew aboard and set the schooner afire.
